A place to enjoy skies and views from all around the globe. Skywatch is only as good as the people who post here. It is a "not for profit, not for awards" fun place to post and link from. Simply take a picture which includes the Sky, post that picture on your blog and then come here and put your preferred name and link in the relevant places. Try to visit others on the links, those at the beginning and the end.

Skywatch Friday - 30 August 2018
Welcome to Skywatch Friday where photobloggers from all over the world post their sky photographs. This is one of the safe and kind corners of the internet and we are glad you are here. We start every Thursday at 2:30 PM CDT US and keep open all week. I am hoping for no hiccups this week because my brand new Dell laptop cratered on me last night so I am doing this on my ipad, and I hope it works. (In case you are wondering, cratered is oilfield talk for won't work.)

Skywatch Friday - 23 August 2018 Edition
Yellowstone National Park Blame the many forest fires for the hazy skies. |
Summer is rapidly coming to a close. School is already started in many areas, vacations of those with children are over, and now the empty nesters and those without school age children are heading out to take advantage of less crowded areas. Here in Oklahoma, the temperate weather generally lasts through the middle of November. So we are headed to cooler temperatures and the many bloggers in the southern hemisphere are looking forward to their summer. I love reading their posts during the extremes of our weather. When it is sweltering here, they are cool. When it is freezing here, they are at the beach. It is hard to be a flat earther when you are a blogger is what I think.
