Skywatch Friday - 19 May 2022 Edition
May in the great plains of the USA, interesting weather ahead!! Take care and make sure you know what is going on!!
Next week I'll be out of touch. The family is taking a little break from everything. I am setting up next week's SWF post so that should be fine. I hope everybody out there is doing a little self care!! Very important in these divisive times. I'm so thankful for the gentle corner of the world occupied by photobloggers.

Skywatch Friday - 12 May 2022 Edition
A pond with ducks on Tulsa's Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area |
I got up this morning and instead of going to my regular Thursday morning yoga class I decided to go on a bike ride. Yesterday was an errand day and I was really wanting some outside time and it has been hot so I needed to go in the morning because I am a pansy like that. I was on the incoming leg of my ride and my thoughts ventured to Skywatch Friday and then it struck me. That's today!!! I guess in these hot hazy days my mind got a little hot and hazy as well so I hurried on back to the car, came home, showered and sat down to the computer. I'll have this done with about 10 minutes to spare. It's been a while since I missed a post and I don't want to start now.

Skywatch Friday - Cinco de Mayo 2022 Edition
Cindo de Mayo (May 5th) is a holiday in Mexico celebrating their army's victory of the French Army at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. It is not Mexico's Independence Day, that is on September 16, 1810. Strangely enough, I read that Cinco de Mayo may be more popular in the USA than in Mexico.
