This weekend we had an early season thunderstorm... As it started to pour, I ran out front with my camera.
The view in front of my eyes was so sweet...
thick clouds ~ emptying themselves.
trees ~ soaking up all the moisture
sky ~ emerging ... teasing us for a sunny day
blooms ~ with raindrops that sparkled

It's lovely to be outside when everything has been washed clean and the sun shines over it all.

What a stunning sky photo! The tones and light contrast so beautifully.

This was taken midsummer's day eve at 9 p.m. We have lots of trees around us so it's hard to get a good sunset shot, but this sunset at 9 p.m. was amazing to me. You can see our lake shimmering in the foreground.

Grrr, our pc is not working so we can't see any pics but the host's description is evoking a lovely image! Our post today is of a stunning display by the RAF Red Arrows who performed right over our house on Wednesday, what a treat! We have pics and videos, enjoy!
