Tucked and hidden up in the hills in the City of Beverly Hills, this is one place you do not want to miss. The Greystone Mansion sits on a 12.58 acres given as a gift from Edward Lawrence Doheny to his son Ned. Construction started in February, 1926 and was finished in 2 years at a cost of $3.13 million.
This mansion has 67 rooms, 55 livable. with a total area of 46,054 square feet. It had stables, swimming pools, tennis courts, lakes, pavilions, kennels, greenhouse and a playhouse. The architecture was Gothic English. There is a lot of history about this place.
Fast forward 1971, the Mansion was dedicated as a City Park and in 1976, it was added as part of the National Register of Historic Places. Today, it serves as location shoots for movies, wedding receptions, photo shoots, or just to spend some quite moments.
