Skywatch Friday - 26 January 2023
Welcome to another edition of Skywatch Friday. I appreciate everyone's participation. The above photo is from 2014, when I still worked. I had a cubicle facing a western window in a high rise with a direct view of the Arkansas River. I took photos almost every day in the winter of the sun setting. I hope everybody is doing well!!

Skywatch Friday - 19 January 2023
A view of the CityPlex Towers in Tulsa. 2.2 million square feet of space in three buildings. Now it is a commercial property. Way back when it was the City of Faith Hospital and Research Center that failed back in the late 1980's. I love seeing buildings repurposed. The views from up top are wonderful.

Skywatch Friday - 12 January 2023
This is a photo of Swan Lake here in Tulsa taken with a film pinhole camera that I had. I loved playing around with it way back when and am feeling the need to get back into it. It has no lens, just literally a tiny pinhole camera and you have to manually open and shut the shutter. No focussing, no zooming, no nothing. I use an iphone app to determine how long to hold the shutter open. Generally it was at least a few seconds of exposure required so I used a tripod.

First Skywatch Post of 2023
(The view from my office in January 2013, from back before I was a shiftless retired person.
