This is a photo from Oklahoma's Osage Hills State Park. It's not far from the County Seat of Osage County, Pawhuska, where a lot of the nefarious dealings happened, involving white men cheating Native Americans, as outlined in the book and movie, "Killers of the Flower Moon." To me Osage County has always had this outlaw type aura around it. It's a very beautiful part of the state. The Nature Conservancy has their Tall Grass Prairie Preserve where they manage a huge bison herd.
