Skywatch Friday - 30 January 2020 Edition

DSCF9596 We almost done with the first month of the new decade. I don't think of myself as that old but my gosh, it has been over forty years since I graduated from college. Where did the time go? I don't feel old!! I sure look it though when I look in the mirror. The skies are always there though. They look pretty much the same. Lots cleaner though than forty years ago and smog regulations came in to effect. I hope we keep them looking cleaner.

Skywatch Friday - 23 January 2020 Edition

Kaiser Library Skywatch-1-Edit

Cold weather has finally hit Oklahoma. Not much snow yet, which is fine with me. I don't mind the cold weather for my hiking and geocaching, the cold knocks down the brush and sends snakes, insects, and spiders away to wherever they go in the winter. Winter is a great time for trees. I can look at trees any time of the year but in winter you get to see their bones.

Skywatch Friday - 16 January 2020 Edition

DSCF9584

The past couple weeks the only place I have been able to wander is downtown close to where I work. There the sky has wires, cables, street lights, powerlines, and all sorts of stuff. It doesn't bother me, its all part of being downtown. I love the sky and the light in all of its varieties.

Skywatch Friday - 9 January 2020 Edition

DSCF9569

We are having a warm winter so far. Close to freezing in the morning but warming up to the 60's in the afternoon. That's great except it dries things out and makes for bad fire seasons. Plus not all the bugs get killed and so we pay for it come spring and summer. Oh well, not much that can be done.

Where are my manners!! Thank you for participating in Skywatch Friday. Lots of very talented people link to this page. A few people have two links. Some link their instagram posts. We don't care, we just want to see great skies.
